Authenticity1 consultants facilitate continual development of
personal and interpersonal leadership skills in individuals and teams -
using a systems and integral approach.
The attribute of
“authenticity” means in this context “reliability,” “credibilty” and
someone that is “worthy of trust and belief”. Authenticity1 brings a full systems and integral perspective to quickly
illuminate and distinguish key aspects of each client's primary business
challenge.
The benefit being a broad and deep picture of a
situation thus enabling the creation of comprehensive and transformational solutions.
This is supported by
a set of models and tools designed and selected over 20 years of
experience, research and experimentation, Authenticity1 are called on
to deliver specifically designed transformational workshops in a range
of topics.
The Integral Approach
Leadership
doesn’t follow from having a role in an organization or a
certain personality type, but rather is cultivated through deep
understanding of self. To lead, we must build our capacity to respond
fully to situations
moment by moment with everything that we are.
Rather than
have a long list of competencies, we focus on the kind of person a
leader is: vibrantly alive, sensitively attuned, and deeply
creative; visionary; one who builds the capacity of people and the organization; and who
brings resilience and respect in all they do.
A1 consultants select from a range of tools to
support the practical application and development of the core
authenticity of each client.
Life Styles Inventory (LSI)
The Life Styles Inventory (LSI) identifies the underlying thoughts and motivations that guide an individual's behaviour.
LSI, often
referred to as personal styles, management styles and leadership
styles, these represent the essence of an individual's effectiveness.
The
quality of an individual's thinking and behaviour contributes greatly
to that person's work performance. Fortunately, your people have the
power to change ineffective thinking and behaviour - the kind that can
paralyse an individual's effectiveness.
But first they need to know if what they're doing now is supporting or detracting from quality performance.
The Inside-Out model of team effectiveness:This model measures the level of clarity and agreement that there is in the team of their:
- Purpose, Values, Vision, Goals, Procedures and Roles.
Team Trust Level – each team members perception of the level of trust across the team.
Positive PsychologyPositive
psychology is a new branch of psychology which focuses on the empirical
study of such things as positive emotions, strengths-based character
and healthy institutions.
Martin Seligman has demonstrated
that it is possible to be happier, to feel more satisfied, to be more
engaged with life, find more meaning and to build resilience to
external challenges. This resilience is a massive benefit in the
uncertainty that results from continual change and the ups and downs of
life. Positive psychology has also been shown to decrease symptoms of depression.
Using
this approach does not negate what needs attention, but enhances
performance and engagement by harnessing strengths while managing
around weaknesses.
Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)The
purpose of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) personality
inventory is to make the theory of psychological types described by C.
G. Jung understandable and useful in people’s lives.
The essence
of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in the behaviour
is actually quite orderly and consistent, being due to basic
differences in the ways individuals prefer to use their perception and
judgment.
MBTI is a valuable tool used by A1 to build awareness
and to maximise diversity in communication, problem solving and rapport
building.
- DiSC behaviour diagnostic is also available to build behavioural awareness for individual.
